About Kedron-Wavell MediCentre

Our family medical practice offers a range of great services and features.

  • We have been caring for families in the Kedron-Wavell area since 1951.
  • Our practice is accredited by GPA Australia. This means that we are committed to quality care and have been independently assessed and measured by strict standards. GPA Australia accreditation provides peace of mind for you, our patients.
  • We have "open books" and welcome both new patients and existing patients who have not seen us for a while to make an appointment.
  • We have "same day" appointments available and always do our best to accommodate our patients' needs.
  • We have a fully equipped three-bed treatment room staffed by registered nurses, where we can treat minor injuries. This means you may be able to see us instead of queuing at the local hospital emergency department. We can deal with many types of injuries and accidents, and our services include wound suturing and immobilising fractures. All of our equipment conforms to strict standards, and our nursing staff are friendly and experienced.
  • We have the facilities to assist with a wide range of medical issues, as well as the resources to provide quality care.
  • Our reception staff are friendly and experienced. They enjoy talking to and accommodating our patients.
  • We have both female and male doctors.
  • Our medical centre has a great kids' play area.
